PA. Bringing Ingenuity to Life.
As a member of our internal resourcing team, you'll manage the placement of consultants within your business unit to client assignments. The Resource Coordinator provides resourcing and administrative support to Resource Managers as they suggest and place consultants on assignments, considering their skills, capability, availability, circumstances, and personal development while balancing the client and the business unit’s needs.
This is a central role within our firm that involves regular contact with the business unit’s management team, the consultants and Partners, the wider Resourcing team, and Corporate functions (HR, Finance). The environment is dynamic and ever-changing, moving at the pace of our clients’ needs.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Resource Management
- Conducting resource skills searches and issuing requests across the business which can be global.
- Issuing and responding to resource requests, internal to and external of business unit
- Supporting the scope, the rollout and implementation of firm wide resource initiatives e.g. refreshing the Skills Profile, new CV template and time forecasting applications.
- Championing of resource management policies and processes with the practice/group
- Monitoring utilisation
Resourcing/Operations/Sales meetings
- Attending the Weekly Resourcing Operational meetings
- Attend with Resource Manager the weekly resourcing ops /sales meetings for the Capability
Management Information
- Weekly resource availability and utilisation reports for Partners, Directors and Managing Consultants
- Availability of business unit across resource management team
- Weekly forecast time vs actual timecard reconciliation report
Resourcing Administration
- Ensure forecast time is updated on time and accurately
- Ensuring the forecast availability data is accurate
- Ensure CVs, Skills Profile or Consultant Directory are up-to-date
- Ensure the resource request tracker is up to date and well-advertised
- Provide resource management cover for other Resource Managers
- Monitor vetting across the group
- Data cleansing our Client management system
New Joiners and long term absence returners
Ensure all new joiners to the business unit are welcomed and all systems are up to date by:
- Attending assessment centres to meet with possible new recruits
- Being a key point of contact with new joiners, welcoming them and assisting with any questions they may have
- Conducting new joiner inductions, resourcing briefings and introductions.
- Ensuring the new arrivals have a clear understanding of the role of Resourcing and the requirements on them to support Resourcing.
- Pen Pic and CV review and coaching to ensure in line with guidelines
- Identifying and organising showcasing opportunities for new joiners
- Liaising with the PA Security Vetting team to ensure applications are progressing.
Relationship building
- Developing strong, trusted relationships with the business unit management team (Partners, Directors and MCs)

- Ideally we are seeking individuals who have operated in a resourcing, project management or administrative role in a professional services environment previously.
