The role

You will be joining the Innovation, Strategy and Design team in frog. We define growth strategies, create inspired innovation portfolios and develop products, services, and experiences that create sustainable, profitable growth for our clients.

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join the Innovation team in our London office.

As an experienced practitioner you will lead cross functional teams to design, prototype and build cutting-edge products and services and launch these into the market.

As a product leader you will build trusted relationships with clients and be seen as an expert practitioner in Product Management. Collaboratively creating product strategy that connects a client’s business goals with strong customer value.

As a key contributor to your practice you will actively champion and raise awareness of Product Management within the studio and global frog community.

Your Responsibilities

As a Lead Product Manager you would be responsible for:

● Leading cross functional teams (internal & external) to design, prototype and build cutting-edge products and services.

● Driving a continuous learning and discovery mindset in the team. Ensuring that the needs of the customer are addressed to deliver the right outcomes.

● Comfortable using data and insights to demonstrate value to key stakeholders and to validate product backlogs.

● Owning the product backlog and be accountable for the quality of the work that you and the team are delivering.

● Being seen by the client project team and senior client stakeholders as a trusted expert practitioner in your given practice, with decision making capabilities.

● Fostering an open environment that enables a happy and healthy team. Discussing any concerns you have with the project leadership team and proactively identifying and resolving team challenges.

● Supporting development objectives for more junior members of the team within the scope of the project.

● Actively championing and raising awareness of the Product Management practice within the studio and global frog community by sharing our ways of working, experiences and learnings to the wider world.

● Supporting the leadership team by identifying commercial opportunities to grow and extend client engagements related to your current project.


Experience required

● You have a wealth of experience within the product management domain at either enterprise level, in scale ups and ventures or in a consultancy environment.

● You have experience building new products from concept and discovery through to delivery and go to market.

● You know what it takes to get to market, and have experience of shipping product, with an opinion on how it should be done to be successful.

● You have used qualitative and quantitative customer data to shape the strategic direction of a consumer product.

● You able to shape and lead cross functional teams. With ability to articulate velocity and outcomes to key stakeholders.

● You have a strong understanding of and are passionate about user-centered design and agile delivery.

● You are deeply passionate about the product craft, are well informed of all the latest developments in these areas and are contributing to their evolution.

● You have experience coaching junior team members to be successful in an agile environment.

● You have a good technical understanding of digital technologies.

● You have strong, confident communication skills.

● You are well adjusted to navigating ambiguity and challenging environments/clients


Our Requirements

You should ideally have a Bachelor's degree and have a wealth of experience working in product management  – for an innovation consulting firm, a design firm or within a start-up environment, at Senior or Lead level as a minimum.

You shall be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:
•    Powerful Storytelling. You should have an intuitive ability to represent complex concepts in a clear, concise and compelling way.
•    Presentation Skills. You should be experienced presenting to senior executives and large audiences, both formally and informally.
•    Creative Sensibilities. You should have a well-honed aesthetic appreciation, and experience working with creative teams across a range of disciplines and deliverables. 
•    Diverse Experience. You will have depth in 1-2 sectors or categories, but you should be able to demonstrate a range of category experience and feel comfortable working across sectors.
•    Contagious Passion. You should see and be inspired by disruptive innovation and transformational ideas, and be able to stoke the fires of those around you.
•    Considered Opinions. You should be able to form thoughtful and considered perspectives, supported by both objective fact and strategic conviction. 
•    Inspirational Leadership. You should be able to inspire a project team working with you to push for excellence and deliver bold, fresh thinking.
