An overview of the role:

 

This is an opportunity to join an exciting and fast-growing Agile transformation team that is spearheading Agile and Scaled Agile transformations across a number of our strategic clients. This team has helped organisations improve their ability to deliver iterative change at the pace they need to succeed. The team consists of consultants who specialise in culture change, tooling, training and coaching to embed Agile practices and Agile ways of working to help achieve the organisations’ business objectives.


We take our clients on a journey from strategy through to execution that enables them to:


•    Develop an Agile culture to improve business outcomes 
•    Create lean-Agile, market-leading operating models
•    Embrace and drive significant value from new technologies
•    Deliver digital solutions reliably at scale, cheaper and faster


We are looking for talented candidates with prior experience in roles such as Product Owner, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Business Analyst etc.  to join our Agile transformation team to coach our clients in embracing the shift to Agile and Scaled Agile ways of working.  
 

What you’ll do:

 

As a Consultant, you will coach a team and produce high-quality deliverables, providing key inputs to shape new ways for working for our strategic clients. You will also be involved in running workshops with client leadership teams, coaching teams around Agile ways of working, and leading Agile ceremonies for large client teams. Consultants will also contribute to wider digital transformation initiatives within the client strategic transformation.


As a Senior Consultant, in addition to the above you will be an able to lead a workstream and steer client teams in decisions on agile related topics. You will also have the stakeholder management skills for working with senior clients, up to C-suite level.

Why you?

 

You will have acted as a Coach or worked within an Agile team or in roles such as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master or Product Owner. You’ll have a passion for innovative thinking, and the ability to drive change in the ways a client operates, whilst having a good understanding of what is required to embed agile ways for working. Confident working in a technology-driven environment (but not necessarily from an IT background or an expert in IT), you will bring proven skills and experience in delivering within an agile team or scaled agile delivery model.


Ideally, you will have experience within one or more of Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecommunication or Media. 

 


You will bring some of the below:


•    Hands-on experience of introducing and embedding agile and scaled agile practices, such as Kanban, Scrum of Scrums and PI Planning 
•    Experience of working with business and IT teams in shaping Agile ways of working and undertaking Agile coaching; running agile ceremonies, creating Agile adoption roadmaps
•    Experience of assessing Agile maturity and coming up with an improvement plan
•    Knowledge of how to accelerate Agile adoption by managing the cultural, governance, environmental and organisational changes
•    Experience in coaching leaders to adopt agile ways of working and a servant leadership mindset   
•    Experience with agile tooling such as such as Jira, Confluence, Target Process, Rally, Azure DevOps etc.   
•    A proven coaching, training and mentoring skillset in Agile delivery and Agile rollout, being able to show a Lean-Agile mindset and customer centricity
•    Potentially have a relevant industry certification such as Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Agilist, Agile Coaching (ICAgile)
