An overview of the role:

You’ll work with leading capital markets companies helping them to define and deliver their strategy for mix of business and regulatory driven change. Leading programmes whilst also playing a role in Capgemini’s growth through contribution to thought leadership business development.  You’ll identify and mitigate risks that may affect the successful delivery and apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team’s plans and objectives are achieved.

You’ll bring the right combination of style and substance, ensuring that the basics are right, whilst always focusing on we add value to our clients. Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.

We’d love to meet someone with:

You will bring deep knowledge of capital markets with broad cross asset class experience of both products and regulation, ideally gained from a mix of industry and consulting roles. Ideally you will have some of the following:

  • Experience implementing large scale regulatory changes in capital markets (e.g, MFID, EMIR, SFTR, Market Abuse regulations etc) across the front/middle and back office in capacity of Project Manager, analyst or change expert
  • Experience in developing technology roadmaps for a capital markets organisation including views on digitisation/AI/Cloud/ WEB3, DLT and Digital Assets
  • Understanding of 3 lines of defence and how controls are designed and implemented across the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience of the quant model lifecycle and an understanding of how it can be optimised
  • Knowledge and experience of ESG is highly advantageous

  • Experience in people management and proven ability to nurture and develop individuals
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing, selling and delivering consulting solutions
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c .£2m of consulting revenues (Director).

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
