We are looking for candidates with the following technical skills:

Well versed in a breadth of core power electronics disciplines including analogue and digital circuit design, power electronics (AC and DC systems to 1kV) and embedded control systems.

Experience architecting complex power electronic designs for commercial or industrial product.

Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product release including demonstrable experience of delivering your designs into service.

Have a good understanding of the regulatory approach required to design electrical power products and control systems and the processes and requirements that drive the engineering. This may be from an adjacent high reliability or safety critical industry.

Good written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience.

In addition, it would be of benefit to possess:

A commercial awareness of the challenges facing our clients and experience of business development in energy, utilities, consumer, manufacturing and automotive, for example electric vehicle onboard and supply side equipment.

Experience of estimation, planning and project managing of complex projects.
