Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Consulting Director, TMT & Go-to-Market Advisory Consulting , you’ll work as part of a team of solutions-driven and problem-solving individuals, apply your data analysis, process improvement and stakeholder management, to drive forward projects and programmes from strategy to execution. Responsibilities also include:
Role & responsibilities
Leading projects to deliver results for clients within agreed deadlines and budgets
Proactively and continuously creating new client opportunities that are grounded in building trusted relationships with Technology / Platform clients to better understand their problems and how we can help solve them
Experience in leading teams of resources on multiple assignments running simultaneously
Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve project and career objectives
Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders and Leadership Teams - continually managing client and internal stakeholder expectations
Overseeing and delivering formal and informal reports and presentations
Leading, preparing and presenting compelling proposals for new client work
Experiences and skills
10+ years relevant experience – consulting experience within professional services, advisory or internal consulting environment
Background in the Technology Sector (From a Strategic, Operational / Financial and Digital perspective)
A background in pro-actively cultivating new client relationships for new business opportunities, creating thought leadership and delivery of client pitches
A people leader with experience managing developing teams
Project or programme management experience with an data focused approach
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with different audiences
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with Technology & Platform Companies, or Telecommunication Companies, an advantage
Experience in managing complex business case across multiple business functions, an advantage
Characteristics / Persona Desired
Proactive and resourceful - ability to think of medium and long term when considering both approach and impact of any proposed solutions
Willingness and ability to sell, build, and scale the PwC service offering and our unique selling proposition
Using your strong industry knowledge to identify opportunities to evolve ongoing engagements and bringing innovative propositions to deliver better outcomes for the Client
Work closely with Consulting and wider Lines of Service teams to ensure cohesion across the sector and account plans
Focus on talent management and recruitment - identifying core and emerging capabilities required to service the sector needs
Understand the role of technology and automation in the context of our Clients’ business models and identify engagements for PwC to invest in innovative technology enablers/platforms/partnerships
Help develop the PwC Ireland brand across the PwC network and in the Irish market
