Job Description

We’re looking for a Community and Engagement Lead in PA Consulting to help drive the long-term growth strategy within the Belfast Digital Hub in a sustainable way. The role will focus on how we attract the talent of the future by helping them understand how a career at PA enables them to play their part in delivering meaningful societal impact.

You will be working closely with schools, universities, local government, charities and relevant local groups. You will showcase the innovation, variety, diversity and ingenuity at PA, showcasing the benefits of a career in PA digital. As part of this role, you will own the engagement strategy, recruitment marketing and lead on all talent attraction initiatives in the local market.

You’ll love this role if you enjoy working in a fast-faced environment, thinking creatively and delivering impactful communications. To be successful in this role you’ll need a good understanding of communications, marketing, local sector, employee engagement and event management. The person in this role needs to be people focused, results oriented, and they should take an insights-driven approach to monitor and implement initiatives to continuously align to our growth ambitions, our employee engagement and creating a positive human future.

Your role connects to the wider firm. You’ll work closely with the Inclusion & Engagement team, Internal Communications, HR and the leadership team creating a segment of one culture for our people. This role reports to the Belfast Digital Lead and links closely with the London engagement and communications lead.


What we’re looking for

Key skills you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • You have good experience working in the NI market, collaborating with (some or all) the following: schools, universities, local government, charities and relevant local groups.
  • You’ve got creative ideas about how to make messages connect with a large and diverse target audience.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to craft concise, engaging and impactful messages.
  • You feel equally comfortable communicating and liaising with both business stakeholders and a thriving digital engineering community.
  • You are a proactive, self-starter who can independently plan and deliver on outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • You are a team player with strong collaboration skills and are skilled at building lasting relationships.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can engage, persuade and influence.
