Job Description

We focus on building technology enabled and agile operating models, planning new enterprise architectures and delivering differentiating system capability that helps clients win in the market. We also leverage digital analytics to enhance the customer experience and use modern technologies such as robotic process automation to help our clients get fit for growth.

The team is a mix of technical and business professionals and expects everyone involved to fix problems and address challenges of every kind. The role would be deployed to client projects across the development lifecycle, which may be at different phases varying from ideation to commercialisation. We are looking for talents who are passionate, with the desire to solve problems and would be adaptive to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a SAP Implementation Lead, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting clients in the implementation and support of SAP packaged solutions and improving business processes;

  • Managing large software applications, gathering internal and external client requirements for the management of those applications in implementation and production settings, and turning those requirements into client-specific, compliant, cost competitive solutions;

  • Interacting with experienced client buyers and/or influencers and making a contribution to the development of new business including designing, costing documenting, proposing and transitioning the technical solution;

  • Developing complex onsite implementation proposals (from deal qualification through transition to delivery);

  • Demonstrating intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success with the SAP product suite leading or assisting with technical development efforts and off-shore development resources;

  • Designing, building, testing and deploying the technical components required for successful SAP solutions, especially RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs and communicating value propositions, managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;

  • Developing practice marketing materials, change management plans and/or project plans, workshops and whitepapers, practice methodologies and tools, policies and procedures, and/or other standard business communications.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

  • Lead all B2B and/or B2C technology thought leadership efforts in Ireland. Represent PwC at key SAP conferences and client events.

Minimum Qualifications / Your Profile

  • Full lifecycle experience of a minimum of two large SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA)

  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies / SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP, Activate)

  • Working knowledge  of on-premise methodologies (agile, waterfall) and cloud implementation methodologies

  • Working knowledge of migration to S/4 HANA from legacy (cloud and on-premise)

  • Integration between core S/4 and other line-of-business applications (SuccessFactors, Ariba etc)

  • Ability to advise on deployment options (RISE, private cloud, hyperscalers)

  • A strong understanding of best practices across a range of the business processes, cross-pillar dependencies and related application implementation design and configuration options within large scale multi-application implementation and business transformation programmes

  • Strong problem solving skills with a focus on pragmatic solutions within the SAP standard best practice framework

  • Ability to lead a team and manage stakeholders

  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills

  • Strong workshop / meeting facilitation skills
