
Director - People Analytics & Strategic Workforce Planning Consulting

Within the last few years, People data and analytics has gone from small experiments and research projects to being front and centre of organisation decision-making. We are looking for a leader who knows how to help our clients harness this.

Why this role?
As a Director in the Workforce & Organisation practice and specifically Workforce Transformation, this role will specifically build one of the most capable People Analytics teams, able to work with clients on some of the most innovative topics. This means genuinely creating new methods to help address current questions around:
- How can we predict what skills we need in the future and which will be automated?
- Where can we visually see the effectiveness of our organisation?
- Are our employees engaged and included? Etc.
At the heart of Capgemini Invent’s culture is innovation, collaboration, and freedom. We can help you form alliances with any of the tier-1 analytics technologies and you will be backed up by a depth of capability pre-existing in Capgemini Invent around, workforce transformation, HR technology, data science and AI.
As a Director in the business you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.
Why you?
- Assess, set-up and optimise People Analytics teams, across the full operating model
- Understand future capability needs through strategic workforce planning, using tools like Faethm, and help them use their current skills most effectively through scheduling and Talent Marketplace mechanisms
- Create an organisation analytics capability that utilises tools like OrgVue, to help organisations understand their as-is and to-be, whilst also monitoring their organisation health and effectiveness
- Design and run strategic use case projects using technology and advanced methods and techniques e.g. A/B testing, scenario models, regression analysis, factor analysis, natural language processing etc. This doesn’t mean that you need to be a qualified data scientist but be able to guide teams on the right methods.
- Assess and put in place a robust People Analytics data framework, including the right technology
- Create business intelligence frameworks to help the business make decisions
- Implement employee listening frameworks, that gauge the thoughts and feelings of the workforce on topics like engagement, well-being, inclusion etc.
- Support businesses to become data-driven overall and for their HR functions, through change management and upskilling programmes
- Be an active member of the People Analytics and Workforce Transformation wider external community, creating thought leadership, igniting debate and marketing Capgemini’s capability
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background
- Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c . £2m of consulting revenues (Director)

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
We offer a remuneration package which includes flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances and a variable element dependent grade and on company and personal performance.
