An overview of the role:

In a world of digital transformation and new operating models, organisations are facing major disruptions that require HR to help transform the way they think and act. Our Workforce Transformation teams’ purpose is to deliver value to our clients through augmenting people, technology and new ways of working that generate growth and profitability whilst delighting their workforces. It’s an exciting time to join us as we grow our Strategic Workforce Planning capability – we are looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants with an interest in strategic workforce planning, people analytics and resource management who can provide hands on delivery, evolve our offerings and grow our internal capability.


The work:

You will help us shape and deliver Strategic & Operational Workforce Planning projects, from assessing the impact of Technology on clients’ Workforces to designing Workforce composition, advising on Workforce Transition and implementing Talent strategies.  Furthermore, you will partner with our Learning & Development and People Analytics teams to integrate Workforce Skilling and Analytics capability into our offerings.

Partnering with our clients across all industries from Government to Financial Services, Retail to Life Sciences and Telco to Energy & Utilities, you will help generate new ideas and conceptual frameworks to solve problems and create insightful fact-based findings and recommendations. You will take an active role within our practice, contributing to our vision to become the UK’s leading Workforce Transformation Advisory practice through co-creating a culture in which every team-mate feels comfortable to bring their whole self to work, empowered to deliver great work, to grow, to be free to innovate and to have fun.

As a Management Consultant in the Workforce & Organisation practice and specifically Workforce Transformation, you will work with our clients across all industries from Government to Financial Services, Retail to Life Sciences and Telco to Energy & Utilities, helping them address key questions around current and future skills and the impact of technology and automation on the future of work.


Why you?

• Within our Workforce Transformation team, you will work and communicate with all levels of our organisation, be knowledgeable on market trends and challenges across HR and bring your own point of view to share with colleagues and clients.
•    You will have prior experience of working on complex HR datasets, designing and developing/modelling workforce planning solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
•    You will have worked on workforce planning solutions that may include use of third-party technology capabilities (e.g. Faethm) as well as knowledge of cloud-based HR technologies. 
•    You will have a 2-3 years relevant experience and understanding of key workforce interventions such as learning, up/reskilling, workforce strategy, target operating models and organisational design.
•    Experience of working in a Consulting environment will be beneficial but a growth mindset and a desire to work in a client facing role, solving complex challenges are most important.

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
