An overview of the role:


This is an opportunity to join an exciting and fast-growing Agile transformation team that is spearheading Agile and Scaled Agile transformations across a number of our strategic clients. This team has helped organisations improve their ability to deliver iterative change at the pace they need to succeed. The team consists of consultants who specialise in Agile transformation delivery, operating model design, culture change and Agile tooling, training and coaching to blend the right Agile, Lean, Design Thinking, DevOps and Kanban practices to help achieve organisations’ business objectives.

We take our clients on a journey from strategy through to execution that enables them to:

•    Develop an Agile culture to improve business outcomes 
•    Create lean-Agile, market-leading operating models
•    Embrace and drive significant value from new technologies
•    Deliver digital solutions reliably at scale, cheaper and faster

We are looking for talented consultants to join our Agile transformation team, to help support our clients in accelerating the shift to Agile ways of working and increased business agility. 


What you’ll do:


As a Consultant: Lead a stream of work and produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions. Running workshops with client leadership teams, coaching teams around Agile ways of working, and leading Agile ceremonies for large client teams. Consultants will also contribute to wider digital transformation initiatives within the client landscape.

As a Senior Consultant: Design and lead projects / multiple streams, taking ownership for elements of the proposition.

Why you?


You’ll bring experience working with organisations to embed Agile ways of working, practices and techniques to transform the way clients operate. Confident at working in a technology-driven environment (but not necessarily from an IT background or an expert in IT), you will bring proven skills and experience in coaching and leading delivery and/or design in Agile and/or Scaled Agile practices in large organisations. You will have acted as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or worked on delivering Agile transformation initiatives, with a passion for innovative thinking and an understanding of what is required to undertake a successful Agile Transformation. You will have passion for advising organisations on how to develop and embed Agile practices and mindset. 

Ideally, you will have experience within one or more of Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Telecommunication or Media. 


You will bring some of the below:


•    Experience of assessing Agile delivery and maturity included recommending improvements 
•    Experience working in an Agile team, coaching and/or leading Agile teams as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
•    Experience in redesign operating models such as definition of new roles, new metrics or embedding new ways of working with an organisation
•    Hands-on experience, supporting or embedding Agile and/or Scaled Agile practices, such as Scrum of Scrums and PI Planning
•    An ability to oversee a workstream performing activities such as backlog creation, refinement and prioritisation with well-defined acceptance criteria
•    Experience supporting an organisation move from Project to Product, developing and maturing a Product oriented capability 
•    Experience with agile tooling such as such as Jira, Confluence, Target Process, Rally, Azure DevOps etc.   
•    Basic understanding of the key principles of DevOps and how it supports the flow of value through the end-to-end delivery pipeline
•    Potentially have a relevant industry certification such as Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Agilist, Agile Coaching (ICAgile)

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
