Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to support teams delivering a variety of interesting projects with the most successful Irish and international organisations?
We are planning significant growth and expansion to our Finance Transformation team over the next few years and we are looking for capable and energetic people to join us on this journey. We are currently seeking to recruit Consultants at the Senior Associate level for the PwC Financial Transformation team within the Advisory Consulting Practice.
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
This team delivers and manages finance transformation projects in one or more of the following areas:
Developing Finance Operations strategies that align with the corporate strategy for the business including business case development and benefits realisation.
Designing, building and implementing finance operating models e.g. finance organisation design, shared services design, outsourcing, processes and technology
Digital transformation and intelligent process automation - assessing, designing and implementing technology interventions such as RPA, Process Mining, OCR, ChatBOTs, etc.
Finance function maturity assessments and benchmarking
Implementing digital dashboards using advanced digital and analytic tools to monitor key operational parameters and facilitate insightful business decision making
Delivering solutions from EPM strategy to implementation across technologies
Advising on strategies and competency assessments to create a Finance workforce of the future
Project management on strategic finance programmes including cost optimisation, divestitures planning, post merger acquisition / integrations, legal entity rationalisations, payroll optimisation, ERP implementations, etc.

About You

  • Analyse complex ideas or proposals and use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and meaningful recommendations.

  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.

  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.

  • Effectively build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Plan and manage a project workstream to time and to budget in support of the overall project plan.

  • Resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.

  • The ability to coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or operations role

  • Qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA or other accounting qualification is desirable

  • Experience:

  • In leading or key roles in Finance Transformation projects, ideally within a professional services / consulting organisation or within a progessive organisation

  • Of successfully shaping compelling proposals for clients, architecting and then leading delivery across the end to end project lifecycle from strategy to execution

  • In finance process optimisation and automation

  • With Digital Finance tools (automation, process mining, dashboarding)

  • With Finance/EPM systems and ERPs through implementation or as users

  • In Financial Data, Management and Financial Reporting

  • Self starter with strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Curious and analytical mindset
