In a nutshell 

We are looking for an inquisitive, ambitious, and dynamic individual to join our Analytics and Data Science team as we continue to develop innovative ways to deliver insight, strategy and consultancy to our clients. You enjoy, are highly proficient and are experienced in applying advanced statistical techniques to research data.  You are also comfortable interpreting and communicating those results to colleagues and clients. 

Your skills & experience 


  • You have at least 2 years’ experience running statistical analysis on survey data and possibly other data sources and are keen to develop further 
  • You have excellent communications skills and can easily and clearly explain complex analytical concepts in plain English 
  • You consistently demonstrate ability to prioritise and multi-task on a daily basis, whilst meeting deadlines 
  • You are proficient with analytics methods such as clustering and regression 
  • Awareness of survey design considerations such as sampling and weighting 
  • You have good knowledge of R  
  • You take pride in and produce high quality work, with attention to detail and have the respect of your colleagues 
  • You’re a team player and care about elevating and developing junior members of the team as well as yourself 
  • You’re not afraid to ‘muck-in’ with both the small detail work as well as more high profile, big picture projects 
  • You are interested in social attitudes and what makes people, consumers and organisations tick 

Nice-to-haves (we don’t expect you to have experience in all of them all, or even most of them) 

  • You have experienced in Conjoint analysis, either using the Sawtooth suite of programmes or otherwise 
  • You have experience of MaxDiff and TURF analysis 
  • You have an interest in current affairs and politics 
  • You have experience or knowledge of operational or financial analytics 
  • Knowledge of SPSS 
  • You are able to programme in VBA and create Excel-based simulation tools 

The role  

This role sits within the Analytics and Data Science Team, who work with all the consulting teams in Yonder. The role will suit an ambitious, proactive and driven analyst who loves solving problems, learning new things and devising novel solutions to our clients’ business problems. 

Reporting to the Associate Director of Analytics, this role will have high visibility across the business.   

You’ll be joining Yonder at an exciting time as we are consolidating our consulting offer into areas including Brand Strategy, Culture, Product Development, Brand Loyalty, Finance and Cooperate Reputation.  This means you will have the chance to make an impact and apply your skills and thinking to an even wider and diverse set of clients and business problems.
