The focus of your role

You will be working to help our Banking clients transform their products and businesses, in the best interests of their customers and employees. You will be leading and/or working on programmes and projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary client and Capgemini skilled teams operating in heavily matrixed organisations.

You’ll be adept at delivering / working on complex projects, breaking down barriers, engaging with stakeholders and planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed.

You will be core to decisions that build high performing teams, where people are excited about the work they are undertaking.

You will bring experience of delivering transformation within Banking institutions (as a consultant or from within a Bank) and have one or more skillsets in:

• Positioning and selling business led technology transformation programmes

• Designing and mobilising transformation programmes
o Governance models and ways of working (Agile/waterfall/ Hybrid delivery models)
o Building and leading multi-disciplinary teams
o Business case development
o Road map and benefits alignment

• Delivering end to end transformation within the Banking environment
o Managing programme/project budgets over £ 5 m
o Managing or working within matrix and multi-disciplinary teams of over 30 people

• Broad understanding of the digital and technology landscape within Banking and the application, a good understanding of market maturity and transformation investment horizons within UK Banks

You will have domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Callcentre and telephony operations; Branch operations; Onboarding; Complaints handling; Customer servicing and maintenance; Relationship management support; Lending operations; Payments operations; Pricing and Underwriting; Collections and recoveries; Probate/Bereavement operations; Fraud operations; Credit or Market Risk operations. Next Generation End to end Banking Platforms; from Online to core banking and everything in between.

What you will do

Our Consultants are at the heart of delivering profitable outcomes in business and technology-oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with a broad range of clients to achieve their strategic goals. At the more senior levels, you will be expected to lead teams and to become actively involved in future business development opportunities.

• You will work with leading financial services companies to assist them in shaping, planning and executing their most strategic change portfolios delivering the FS institutions of the future.
• Evolve the Capgemini Invent FS technology strategy applying leading thinking in delivery practices, methods and tools
• You will lead designers and technologists to build the customer journeys and operational functions of the future, whilst also playing a role in Capgemini’s growth through successful delivery, contributing to our offers and knowledge, as well as developing new business.
• You will represent the Capgemini Invent Brand at the very highest level within our clients overseeing delivery quality and supporting our teams to be successful
• You will work with our senior leaders to shaping and sell business transformation across our FS portfolio of clients

What you will bring

You will have good Financial Services and Consulting experience with a background in transformation and you will have novel points of view regarding innovating the future of the industry.

You will be familiar with playing leading roles within large transformation programmes working with senior stakeholders to deliver change across the business and technology:

• Management consulting experience, or Bank internal transformation experience, with a proven track record of driving value in Consumer, Business, Commercial or Corporate Banking
• Exceptional stakeholder management, with experience of being able to influence senior stakeholders and “get things done” across a range of organisations, varying in size and complexity.
• Expert knowledge and experience of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
• First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
• Strong business acumen, a high level of financial management capability, and experience of providing key Management Information to support the business.
• Understanding of modern digital technologies.

You will also bring:

• Experience in people management and proven ability to nurture and develop individuals.
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing, selling and delivering consulting solutions.

Whilst you will have London or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.

We offer a remuneration package which includes fixed salary, and in addition for Senior Consultant and above, you will receive variable compensation dependent on company and personal performance. We also offer flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances.
