An overview of the role and capabilities we are looking for:

Our team is undergoing a transformative stage of growth. Our clients are looking for expertise from Capgemini Invent to shape their technology futures against increasingly challenging times, with Covid-19 disruption, margin pressure, increasingly complex customer expectations, and the burden of legacy technology and legacy operating models all driving the need for modernisation.

We are looking for talented individuals to join the Digital Acceleration consulting team within Business Technology to help our large-scale corporate clients understand the capability and impact of digital transformation. You will help our clients to shape their technology vision, build a strategy to succeed, and define digital transformation roadmaps. We have a requirement for IT strategy and operating model roles at varying levels of seniority, from Consultant level through to Senior Manager level.

What you'll bring:

We are looking for the following core capabilities from Consultant and Senior Consultant level candidates:

  • Able to hold engaging discussions with clients to help them understand the capability and impact of digital transformation
  • Able to lead and facilitate discussion in client workshops to identify and align stakeholders to a shared IT vision and strategy
  • Able to define a high-level operating model for the IT and business organisation that aligns to client requirements
  • Able to model benefits and costs to develop a comprehensive and effective business case for digital transformation
  • Able to define a transformation roadmap with clear technology initiatives that can be delivered within the client’s time and cost requirements
  • Experience with working with industry-standard frameworks and maturity assessments
  • Experience within IT finance/IT costings and technology strategy such as platform-based strategy, API strategy and cloud strategy
  • Demonstration of core management consulting skills, such as storyboarding, structured thinking, comparative analysis, presentation skills, to be successful in a fast-paced Consulting environment
  • Demonstration of ability to deliver within timescales, with evidence of budgetary responsibilities

In addition to the capabilities mentioned above, we are looking for an additional set of experiences for candidates applying to Managing Consultant and Senior Manager level:

  • Evidence of having successfully delivered CIO advisory and IT strategy engagements and driven positive client outcomes/ROI from digital transformation programmes
  • Evidence of transforming operating models to align to client strategy, particularly in areas such as platform-based and cloud strategies
  • Evidence of leading IT strategy and operating model projects and the ability to manage and lead multiple workstreams
  • Able to engage effectively with C-suite client stakeholders to clearly communicate the benefits of technology and digital transformation and help bridge the gap between IT and the business
  • Evidence of supporting sales efforts and market making, and helping to shape commercials on deals
  • Evidence of team building and increasing the capabilities of junior associate consultant / consultant resources
  • Evidence of career progression and expansion of roles / responsibilities as your career has advanced
