An overview of the role:

We have an amazing opportunity for a Sales Director to join our team. This role reports into the CSO.

As we continue to grow our account-centric go to market culture we are looking for a collaborative individual to lead our Account Manager community, own the account plan and coach account leaders on account planning. On top of this, YOU WILL HAVE responsibility to l ead the CXO play initiative for Capgemini Invent in the UK, including shaping our CXO research and leading our CXO engagement approach. To support our hands on culture, you will be an Account Leader in one of our Sector Teams.

Why this role?

As a Director in the business you’ll help set the Go To Market direction, driving sales in our business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Key expectations from this role include:

  • Leverage market research and competitor analysis to shape our future priorities
  • Lead Sales transformation initiatives such as client feedback and CXO play
  • Create and lead bid management and support teams
  • Manage our monthly sales forecasting process with the CFO and Sales Operations leader
  • Communicate our sales commission schemes within Capgemini Invent UK VP community
  • Support the Alliances Director to generate new Invent business in our priority accounts from alliance relationships

Why you?

You will have:

  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Account management experience, ideally in consulting selling. You would lead a major consulting account and would coach our account leaders on:
    • Account planning
    • Representing the full Invent portfolio
    • Collaboration in Capgemini Invent UK, Capgemini Invent Global and Capgemini group
    • CXO engagement coaching
    • Commercial deal shaping
    • Big deal support
  • Inclusive and collaborative style, strong communication skills and account management gravitas

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
