You will be required to:

  • Provide strong industry experience, knowledge and understanding of delivering large scale, complex change within Financial Services
  • Successfully lead / manage client engagements to client satisfaction
  • Highlight the ability to adapt to differing subject matters whilst continuing to operate at a high standard
  • Produce content which communicates insights and recommendations to clients at varying levels of seniority and technical literacy
  • Proactively develop strong and lasting client relationships, helping them to resolve their day-to-day problems whilst creating additional business opportunities
  • Identify, drive and develop new business opportunities based on your specific areas of expertise
  • Take a leadership role in the expansion of the commercial proposition and its associated services (including creation and maintenance of Intellectual Property)
  • Manage and mentor Consulting employees

You will have the ability to:

  • Mobilise and run multiple workstreams or a programme
  • Manage small / medium sized teams
  • Effectively delegate tasks and allocate staff to appropriate roles
  • Deliver and manage across multiple project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall / agile)
  • Review existing programme structures and processes and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Chair and facilitate working groups and steering committees with authority and influence to drive progress
  • Provide effective mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Successfully embed and implement change through strong business readiness and change management expertise
  • Deal with external and internal stakeholders across all levels
  • Pick things up quickly and have the desire to learn new methods
  • Present complex information clearly to those not familiar with the subject matter
  • Build strong trusted working relationships with business partners at various levels

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in project / programme management
  • Qualified in PRINCE2 or similar project management accreditation (e.g., APM, PMP)
  • Experience in mobilising and running PMO functions or teams
  • Experience in regulatory change
  • Experience in mobilising and running change portfolios (including scaled agile)
  • Experience in technology change and managing through waterfall and agile delivery methods
  • Experience in and knowledge of Financial Services                                
  • Experience of managing consultants and developing them in their careers
  • Familiarity with project and portfolio management software (e.g., MS Online, Clarity, Planview etc)
  • Familiarity with the management of programme budgets / finances on behalf of clients
