During the energy transition, the grid companies are currently going through massive changes. This places a lot of pressure on how they operate their networks and now they have to cope with a huge increase of decentralized generation, EV and growing demand of electricity. This means that grid companies are transforming their control center and invest in new solutions to cope with changes. State of the art control systems (EMS, AMDS, DERMS) are placed at the center of the control rooms.

At Accenture, we see this domain as a growth market and look for additions to our European team.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients in Europe in their transformation to a control room of the future and have a firm understanding of operating and electricity network, both transmission and distribution.

• Setup a control room system, consisting of SCADA, OMS, DMS and EMS and you are able to work together with clients to design the overall solution architecture of such systems.  

• Have a good view on the available solutions in this market and can articulate the importance of flexibility services.

• Have the ability to advice clients in their strategic choices on how to implement their solutions and can act either as a solution architect or consultant on these matters.

What we're looking for:

• Candidate has worked in the control room for an Electricity DSO or TSO and has been part of a control room transformation project.

• Candidate has worked for a major EMS/AMDS vendor as solution architect or delivery lead -> Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, GE, Emerson OSI, PSI

• Candidate has experience with at least one of the following applications: DMS, EMS, OMS, SCADA, DERM, Power Factory.
