About the Role:

FTI EMEA have a varied and exciting Corporate Citizenship programme that focuses on delivering impact where it is needed most. You will be a social conscience for the organisation, helping innovate and drive ambitions for social and environmental change and make these a reality that are embedded and implemented across the organisation. The roles and responsibilities of businesses are changing rapidly; society increasingly expects that organisations should act responsibly not just to their shareholders but also to their wider stakeholders and the broader community. Business therefore is a great platform for social and environmental change.

There are 5 strands to the role: Charity Fundraising including account management for the Charity Partner relationship; Employee matched giving, Employee Volunteering and Community activities including delivery of our Gold Award winning programme Experts in Schools; Pro Bono work and supporting Environmental Sustainability.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Corporate Citizenship EMEA, responsible for supporting 2300 professionals across EMEA.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for supporting the EMEA Corporate Citizenship Manager with the following objectives:

  • Actively supporting EMEA offices (Brussels, South Africa, Paris, Dublin, Dubai, Germany, Madrid) to embed corporate citizenship (advice, support, contracts, visits, monthly calls etc)
  • Raising £50k per year for our charity partner - The Talent Tap delivering at least 4 events per year, awareness, account management, supporting sports events and a hybrid work experience programme.
  • Delivering Experts in Schools (Economics and Media x 16 school sessions per year, 8 Career Webinars, 16 x Be The Teacher (COVID and the Economy, Crisis at Sparrow Bank, Who Owns Your Data), 4 teacher resources, work experience and supporting delivery of EMEA roll out e.g. Brussels and Dublin
  • Benevity support - fielding EMEA employee questions around matched giving and volunteering on our Corporate Citizenship portal
  • Supporting environmental initiatives including the Environmental Sustainability Committee meetings
  • Supporting volunteering all year round including delivering volunteer month in June: managing volunteer partner Ethical Angel
  • Supporting the Pro Bono programme including our partnership with Pro Bono Economics
  • Marketing profile - award applications, FTI Friday content, Benevity articles, noticeboards, quarterly café stands, supporting the US team with their quarterly corporate citizenship newsletters and quarterly meetings, social media posts in collaboration with the EMEA marketing team
  • Governance and reporting for EMEA - biennial Corporate Citizenship steering meetings for UK, sustainability meetings, monthly calls with the US, EMEA offices and segment teams, updating benchmarking spreadsheets and gathering/ producing pro bono case studies to be used in our United Nations Global Compact Communications on Progress reports

Responsibilities:

Events and Relationship management
  • Own and deliver initiatives and campaigns that contribute to Corporate Citizenship
  • Help organise events that engage internal and external stakeholders by owning the administrative and logistical aspects
  • Supporting Experts in Schools room bookings and coordinating with charity Young Citizens
  • Attending events and supporting Experts in Schools sessions
  • Management of events that engage employees and key stakeholders for charity partner The Talent Tap
  • Attending calls and meetings with charity partners
  • Helping to prepare agendas for strategy meetings e.g. monthly Corporate Citizenship champion group and quarterly Steering group
  • Design and deliver volunteer events through Ethical Angel and other community partners that fit our strategy of sharing time and skills, including internal logistics and creating adverts/briefings

Research and project management
  • Collect and input EMEA Corporate Citizenship data from across the business in order to contribute to industry and mandatory reporting requirements e.g. Corporate Sustainability Report, EMEA annual reports, UNGC Comms on Progress etc.
  • Research relevant events, opportunities by keeping abreast of newsletters, events etc
  • Help to ensure that all colleagues, where appropriate, are trained on the practical application and integration of the Corporate Citizenship portal to their daily duties through Benevity the Corporate Citizenship portal
  • Record, track and reconcile all volunteer activity on central database as part of global reporting

Communications
  • Create and deliver communications to communicate and promote news, initiatives and events but also how to maximise corporate citizenship benefits of matched funding, volunteer and pro bono hours through newsletters, posters, emails, intranet, and presentations
  • Identify and build internal relationships in order to foster buy-in to existing and future initiatives with the aim of integrating ethical policies and behavior into everyday business practices
  • Manage the EMEA Corporate Citizenship shared mailbox, replying to internal and external contacts
  • Create and manage monthly check ins with all EMEA offices

This is an excellent opportunity for a person with a passion for Corporate Citizenship, energy and attention to detail to get involved in all elements of Corporate Citizenship and to work closely with an experienced Corporate Citizenship and fundraising professional. Through this role you will be exposed to all levels of the company and have the opportunity to partner with our internal stakeholders EMEA-wide on a wide variety of initiatives related to fundraising, volunteering and pro bono work.
