About the Role

We are looking for a talented, ambitious, and passionate Senior Consultant to join our award-winning team in London. Our Senior Consultant will work alongside account team members to execute on day-to-day media relations, leading on client reporting, writing content and participating in pitches and business development. We are looking for candidates who are entrepreneurial, creative and collaborative with strong writing skills and a passion for engaging with the media, helping clients navigate a complex and challenging stakeholder world.

What You'll Do

Deliver to Clients
  • Day-to-day execution of both retained and project work
  • Bring fresh ideas and a creative flair to client engagements
  • Track industry news and identify topics where clients can be part of the conversation
  • Provide strategic advice to a portfolio of clients
  • Generate supportive media coverage and build on our media network
  • Confidently write thought leadership and content on behalf of our clients
  • Apply focus and commitment to client retention through exemplary service delivery
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and asks the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsibly.
  • Understands FTI's values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice and demonstrates a strong commitment to applying these concepts in daily interactions with colleagues and clients.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in a corporate PR agency environment (or in-house communications role)
  • Capacity to manage priorities between multiple client assignments and firm initiatives
  • Excellent written and oral presentations skills
  • Have the desire to develop excellent trade/vertical/technology/business media contacts


Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in and a passion for the technology, media and telecoms sector
  • Sharp writing skills and creative flair
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Developed ability to multi-task across client programmes, firm initiatives and sales opportunities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
