
Learning & Development Senior Manager | Human Resources |Core Operations
The EMEA Talent Development Team is part of FTI's dynamic Global Human Resources practice.
Reporting to EMEA Talent Development Leader, you will have a key role in supporting the content design, coordination, and delivery of our Consulting Training Programmes. These events are essential for all our people in building core capabilities and exceptionally high standard talent development programmes across EMEA.
The Talent Development Manager will also partner with Global TD to define needs and to design and develop learning programs and participate in some global delivery. They will leverage the global curriculum comprised of classroom, hybrid, virtual, e-Learning, assessments, and development.
What You'll Do
- You will develop, deliver, and continuously improve learning content using an array of creative approaches that inspire and engage learners to drive excellence and career development across all areas of the business from leadership through to entry-level graduates
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with Global Talent Development, HR partners, Segment leaders and key stakeholders to understand FTI strategy and business needs, to create learning paths and deliver the FTI Curriculum.
- You will liaise with the Global TD team to ensure EMEA is fully leveraging our global tools and processes including a consistent evaluation process, FTI's Learning Management System, Knowledge Now, and reporting.
- You will be expected to work independently and be self-directed to accomplish goals and objectives as assigned. You will ensure the content being delivered is valued and well received and the training programs are run to an exceptionally high standard across all employee levels.
Responsibilities
The EMEA Talent Development Manager is part of FTI's dynamic global Human Resources practice. This position will report to FTI's EMEA Talent Development Lead and participate in the effective delivery of the Learning and Development Strategy through the following:
- Work with the EMEA Talent Development Lead in the evolution and delivery of all EMEA leaning initiatives that aim to enhance all areas of the business from leadership through to entry-level graduates (including Graduate, On-boarding, Coaching, Performance Management Processes, Annual Milestones and Business Development Programmes) as required.
- Work with Global Talent Development in the evolution of the competency-based curriculum of fundamental and advanced courses (including Leadership, Inclusion and Business Development programmes).
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions; instruction and delivery of both in-person, virtual and hybrid events.
- Liaise with the business, HR, and Global LD leaders to address learning needs, learner pathways, identify capability gaps and common goals.
- Use instructional systems design and development of blended learning programs to meet the demand needs of internal customers in alignment with regional and global priorities.
- Liaise with the business regarding the learning content, processes, and results. Evaluate the success of learning solutions via such means as training evaluations, observation, surveys, data collection/analysis etc. and continuously improve learning initiatives.
- Prepare various reports for business leaders, including responses to regulatory or legal requests on course performance, approach, duration, topics covered, and future training plans.
- Provide feedback to course managers on developed training. Consult as needed with other course managers in the segments.
- Select vendors and manage relationships and deliverables to optimise learning impact and guide learning initiatives purchased or created by external vendors.
- Manage internal and external projects where appropriate to produce relevant learning solutions
- Employ adult learning principles and innovation strategies for training delivery.
- Continually research and apply best-in-class and new facilitation and training methods and techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of training and facilitation techniques including hybrid working, technology and micro-learning by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Introduce applicable trends in facilitation and training and development for inclusion in offerings.

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: University degree preferred. CIPD professional training qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience of design and delivery of learning and development initiatives within an international matrix organisation.
• Professional or Financial Services experience.
• Development and demonstrated expertise in Instructional Systems Design and learning solutions including micro-learning offerings.
• Leading and managing development plans and learner pathways
Experience in Learning Management System (LMS), E-learning development and Request for Proposal (RFP).
• Prior vendor management, evaluation, and negotiation experience.
• Skilled in project management methods and tools. Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills.

• Creative thinker with a can-do attitude, who has experience of operating independently in an HR or L&D focused environment.
• People skills, able to build rapport quickly across all business groups and levels.

• Coaching, mentoring and feedback skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
• Solid and concise communicator, confident in delivering presentations and leading meetings.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and eLearning design.
• Ability to understand different businesses and business models easily and quickly.
• Ambitious self-starter with a needs and solutions/results-based orientation and elevated ability to execute globally.
• Flexibility to travel regularly as needed.
You might also have
• Core consulting skills gained through working in a professional services firm, global consultancy, niche consultancy or an in-house role with exposure to large-scale programmes of work.
• Experience of business development training including the skills, behaviors and understanding of the Sales and Marketing challenges in a Consulting environment.
• Experience using and applying assessments in a learning environment: 360s, Strength's assessments, DiSC, Hogan etc.
