Establishing a presence in Europe over 18 years ago, the European business now has some 800 staff in a broad range of professional services including: Performance Improvement, Financial Institutions Advisory, Tax and Disputes and Investigation Services.

Over the past year A&M Europe has been growing its Analytics Team responsible for providing real-time reporting, insights, analysis, and tools.  Due to an increasing demand from the business for these tools and insights we are now looking for a new team member to join the team and aid us in putting data in the hands of decisionmakers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building out ETL processes and creating/developing Management information systems. The candidate will work with all our practice areas across the globe including Private Equity Performance Improvement, Corporate Transformation, Disputes & Investigations, and Financial Services Advisory.

Overview of the role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement solutions that connect to a variety of data sources, ensuring data is cleansed, mapped, and transformed to meet requirements for business and technical use cases

  • Develop and implement scalable solutions for data storage and mapping

  • Be responsible for the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and operational data store

  • Help with the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimisation of data ETL processes using best practices

  • Will have an entrepreneurial spirit and not be afraid to challenge the status-quo

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining relational databases preferably MS SQL Server and Azure products

  • Experience in SQL and/or another coding language (ex. Python, R)

  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines

  • An understanding of technologies and best practices involved in data management (Database management systems, data services, data lakes, etc.).

  • Experience in utilising data to solve business/financial problems
