The Opportunity
CFO Services helps CFOs and key finance leaders re-imagine the finance function and deliver finance transformation and performance improvement activities. The team blends independent perspectives with practical solutions based on real industry experience to build and deliver roadmaps that enable the change required to transform the operating model and organisation by leveraging best practices, digital processes, organisational redesign and technology.
As an Associate you work closely with Managing Directors in a flat team structure. You will lead key work streams and benefit from constant exposure to experienced members of the team and the senior management of the client. You will deliver client projects including finance function transformation, crisis cash management, cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation. Assignments may include organisational design, operating model assessments, G&A cost reduction, working capital benchmarking, data analytics, integration or carve-out planning and, digitally enabled finance and accounting.
In addition, Associates also have the chance to contribute to business development activities, develop innovative client offerings and considerably nurture and enlarge their professional network. Qualifications
Ideally the successful candidate will have;
- Bachelor’s degree plus a professional qualification – ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- 3-6 years experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, specialist consulting firm, blue chip corporate or investment bank
- Well-developed analytical skills combined with strong IT skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability plus strong business financial acumen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ambition with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
- A willingness to travel for project work
- Additional European languages including French, German, Dutch, Italian or Spanish are advantageous
