The Transport and Services team sits within the Telecoms, Media, Technology and Services Sector. With the support of our Capgemini Engineering colleagues, we foster synergies between the Digital and Engineering worlds to help Network and Communications companies build intelligent products, operations, and services at scale with digital inside everything, digital continuity throughout lifecycles and digital convergence with its ecosystem(s).

We advise Travel and Transport Infrastructure clients and national infrastructure operators on the design, sourcing, transformation and operational improvement of transport infrastructure and services.

We are looking to hire experienced and energetic Senior Consultants / Managing Consultants based out of our head office (London, Holborn).

Motivated, collaborative and determined, our Senior Consultants / Managing Consultants work in partnership with our customers in Roads, Rail and Aviation to solve their challenges. Managing Consultants bring insight, creativity, advice, strategy on leading technologies and Clients trust them to be hands-on to deliver as well.

No matter the project or customer, your work will have a meaningful impact on society, businesses, and lives. It’s really rewarding. And it’s also really varied. You’ll potentially work on a huge variety of projects (some larger than others), so you could gain lots of experience in a short amount of time.

We really believe in creating a partnership with our customers. Using tools and capabilities such as our Accelerated Solutions Environment (ASE), you’ll get to know the customer’s needs and challenges, demo innovative solutions and quickly solve problems. It’ll help you discover unexpected answers together.

We are growing and expanding our team of Consultants within our Transport & Services sector and have several customers and projects that we are working with. It is an exciting time to join the Invent family! The projects you will work on may be varied but will enable you to build up deep knowledge in your field – whether that be programme delivery, digital transformation, or process optimisation.

You will already have some experience in the consulting industry and will be looking to move to an organisation that offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your career.
You will have a deep understanding and knowledge of some of the Travel and Transport Infrastructure clients or architecture, construction, and engineering organisations, and understand the customer and experience demands, the regulatory complexities and changing dynamics of the industry that they face.
In addition to this knowledge, you will have a strong understanding of one or more of the following capabilities:
• Project and Programme Delivery
• Digital and customer transformation
• Data science, data engineering or Artificial Intelligence
• Process optimisation, improvement, or analysis
• Leading in both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
• Managing operation transformation/continuous improvement projects or programmes
• Digital Change Management
• Experience of delivering in an Agile / Scaled Agile environment would also be advantageous
• Identification and scoping of business opportunities, backed with sound commercial acumen

• As a Consultant: lead a stream of work and produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
• As a Senior Consultant or Managing Consultant: design and lead projects / multiple streams, taking ownership for elements of the proposition.
• You will be a Transport & Services Lead on projects, working collaboratively with the other parts of the Capgemini business to solve Client problems
