Our pan European Debt Advisory team has offices in London and Frankfurt, and we operate across a broad range of industries, advising both private, listed and private equity-backed businesses. The team has a deep knowledge of a wide range of debt products including corporate lending, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, private placements, asset-based facilities and structured finance. In addition to engaging on “good book” mandates, the team have experience right across the credit spectrum from the healthiest growing companies to those in stressed situations including refinancings, introducing alternative capital providers, negotiating covenant amendments & waivers, and broader stakeholder management.

Our European team is expanding and we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals from Analyst through to Director level to join our growing team.

As part of a highly skilled international team, a successful applicant will assist businesses (public, private and sponsor-backed companies) to source and negotiate debt finance across an increasingly diverse and complex range of structures and markets including banks, credit funds and other non-bank lending institutions.

Typical projects will include:

  • Review refinancing options to support growth strategies

  • Contribute to advice on optimal capital structures

  • Assist on negotiating new money fundraisings

  • Provide assistance on refinancing and restructuring existing debt facilities

  • Assist borrowers to manage their lenders in stressed situations

  • Carry out financial modelling, including analysing business forecasts, scenario analysis and covenant sensitivities

  • Contribute to the management of the transaction processes, including the preparation of information packs, presentations and financial analysis

The successful appointee will have:

  • Training in European debt markets in a leading Debt Advisory team or in Banking

  • Strong academic background including a highly numerate skill set and experience in key relevant skill sets (e.g. building integrated financial models)
