About our Capital Projects and Infrastructure team

The infrastructure services we provide include:

  • Strategic infrastructure planning

  • Feasibility, business case and investment decision support

  • Procurement and delivery options analysis

  • Commercial, financial and strategic advice

  • Tender process strategy, design and management

  • Preparation of tender documentation

  • Preparing and negotiation of project agreements

  • Program and project management

  • Cost, commercial and contract assurance

  • Operational readiness and performance enhancement

  • Asset management (including long term strategic planning)

  • Portfolio analysis and optimisation

  • Benefits realisation management

  • M&A buy-side and sell-side leadership and advisory

  • Financing, refinancing and restructuring

  • Market-led proposals - strategy, structuring, evaluation and transaction support.

For this role we are looking for a strong candidate with a background in providing commercial and procurement advice on capital projects, infrastructure and/or large-scale operational procurements. The candidate will ideally have an accounting or finance qualification with over 3 years’ PQE providing commercial and procurement advisory in a professional services environment or similar role. A recognised procurement and/or project management qualification is also desirable.

  • Experience in providing procurement advice including a strong knowledge of public procurement rules as well as development and implementation of procurement strategies in accordance with Irish and EU rules.

  • Experience in providing advice on delivery model strategies on various contract types for example, alliancing, construction works contracts, joint ventures, operating contracts, Public Private Partnerships.

  • Experience in providing commercial advice in contracts including for example, payment mechanisms, performance measurements and indicators, compensation regimes, risk sharing mechanisms. 

  • Experience in advising on the strategic assessment reports, preliminary business cases and final business cases for projects in accordance with the Irish Public Spending Code or equivalent globally.

  • A passion for procuring infrastructure and operational projects with purpose.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • A collaborator with strong strategic thinking skills.
