In this role you will:

  • Have the opportunity to work for leading global and UK clients on their greatest challenges
  • Understand complex business problems and advise clients on simplifying, optimising, and redesigning their control process
  • Diagnose and solve complex business challenges and opportunities and set strategies based on them
  • Work within a high performing Accenture change team to deliver business critical engagements that improve our client’s risk management or compliance capabilities
  • Work in partnership with colleagues with industry, risk, data, analytics, and technology experience on market defining projects
  • Be agile and agnostic to solutions as you work with different client circumstances and as controls ecosystem evolves at an ever-increasing pace
  • Support and participate in client presentations, planning sessions and create required documentations
  • Contribute to the Non-Financial risk practice community and build a network across Accenture and our clients
  • Work alongside our global clients, with opportunities to travel

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Business analysis / project delivery experience
  • Good understanding of change delivery best practices in either traditional or agile methodology (gained in industry or consulting)
  • Experience of using methods to reduce, optimise and re-think the management of risk
  • Understanding how data and analytics can be used to prevent, detect, and manage Non-Financial Risk
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments
  • Good working knowledge of UK or global regulation, legislation, and industry guidance
  • Good understanding of the control framework and best practices for NFR risk management
  • Project delivery experience either as lead or part of project delivery team
  • Strong MS office skills specifically in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Delivering high-quality output in short timeframes
  • The ability to present complex problems and solutions to senior stakeholders
  • The ability to work effectively within a team setting to tight and agile deadlines
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including the ability to work across both technology and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to approach a problem in a structured manner and propose workable solutions
  • Ability to absorb and process information quickly
  • Experience with staff development and ability to mentor junior practitioners
  • Experience of working in Controls management within Non-Financial Risk in advisory, technology, analytics, or operational capacity is preferable

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk, Non-financial Risk, or Compliance
  • Ability to establish trust-based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Consulting experience or ability to work in a consulting environment
  • Ability to understand complex issues, quickly absorb information, and work creatively in a problem-solving environment
  • Proven presentation skills, personal impact and ability to lead meetings, presentations and workshops
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Knowledge of latest industry and Non-Financial Risk trends
  • Experience in writing points of view or presenting on risk management trends
  • Experience of working using Agile delivery methodology
  • Experience using data and analytics to support optimisation of the control framework
  • Experience with assessing appropriateness and effectiveness of controls and designing / implementing risk-based enhancements
