Data Analyst
Establishing a presence in Europe over 18 years ago, the European business now has some 800 staff in a broad range of professional services including: Performance Improvement, Financial Institutions Advisory, Tax and Disputes and Investigation Services.
Over the past year A&M Europe has transformed its internal Management Information systems creating new data pipelines and building out analytical and visualisation capabilities to provide real-time insight to the business. Due to an increasing demand from the business for these tools and insights we are now looking for a recent graduate to join the team to continue this journey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting business requirements, building out ETL processes and creating/developing Management information systems. The candidate will work with all our practice areas including Private Equity Performance Improvement, Corporate Transformation, Disputes & Investigations, and Financial Services Advisory.
Overview of the role:
The successful candidate will:
Use data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI to present findings in dashboards to internal teams.
Work with large datasets helping the business draw insights through a range of data-driven solutions including financial modelling, time series analysis, KPI development, and reporting.
Be skilled in a range of tools including R, Python, or other language as well as SQL to interrogate and understand the data as well as continue building out internal databases.
Will have an entrepreneurial spirit and not be afraid to challenge the status-quo.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
A 2:1 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
Experience in utilising data to solve business/financial problems.
Experience in SQL and/or another coding language (Python, R)
Experience building and maintaining Relational Databases
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working with data visualisation software (Tableau, Power BI)
Data focused master’s degree or relevant analytical work experience
