About the Role

We are looking for a talented, ambitious and passionate Consultant to join our award-winning team in London. The role of the Consultant is to support our busy client teams in all areas - this requires proactivity and a hands-on attitude. It will be your responsibility to explore the latest innovations in the industry, experimenting, testing and learning to bring insights back to the team. What You'll Do

As a member of our growing Digital & Insights team, you'll support the development and delivery of innovative strategies and programmes for our core FTSE 100 clients across all sectors, and will be involved in all aspects of our clients' digital communications programmes - from strategic planning, to content development, community management, and measurement.

You will be ambitious, innovative, and passionate about the power of digital and social media to shape the reputation of global businesses and are offered the opportunity to take on a range of responsibilities. Key tasks will include:

  • Day-to-day support on core clients across all sectors
  • Content development - copywriting, designing of social media assets, management of designers
  • Community management - manage social media communities and engage with audiences
  • Paid campaigns - setup and management of paid social media advertising campaigns
  • Reporting - delivering regular insights and recommendations that inform broader client communications
  • Measurement - exploring how success is measured and the performance of campaigns and content
  • New business support - providing creative ideas, insights, analysis and research to guide our winning proposals
  • Strategic advisory - developing long-term relationships with our top-tier clients, providing them with strategic advice and day-to-day practical support
  • Culture - getting involved in team initiatives to actively build and contribute to our team culture, including insights, creativity and having fun at work


Position requirements:

• Passion and enthusiasm for the potential of social media to shape and enhance corporate communications
• Obsessive with the latest digital innovations and social media features - bringing updates and insights to the team
• Keeping in-tune to the corporate landscape and the issues shaping the digital backdrop for clients
• Strong written and verbal skills, with attention-to-detail
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational and planning skills
• Desire to explore your own creativity to problem-solve on behalf of clients
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity and curiosity - asking the necessary questions to grow your experience
• Understands FTI's values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice and demonstrates a strong commitment to applying these concepts in daily interactions with colleagues and clients. Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to convey technical language as appropriate for the audience
  • A strong understanding and familiarity with digital and social media platforms, as well as experience managing and growing digital channels
  • A proven interest in digital communications, social media trends, emerging media platforms and tools, online reputation management, or creative campaigns
  • Team player and a self-starter
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns, SEO, and social listening tools is a plus
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices when needed
