We focus on building technology enabled and agile operating models, planning new enterprise architectures and delivering differentiating system capability that helps clients win in the market. We also leverage digital analytics to enhance the customer experience and use modern technologies such as robotic process automation to help our clients get fit for growth.

The team is a mix of technical and business professionals and expects everyone involved to fix problems and address challenges of every kind. The role would be deployed to client projects across the development lifecycle, which may be at different phases varying from ideation to commercialisation. We are looking for talents who are passionate, with the desire to solve problems and would be adaptive to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As an IT Project Manager, you will manage multi-skilled teams to deliver leading edge tech projects whilst managing budgets, risks and dependencies. You will work with your team to:

  • Lead and coordinate complex programmes or projects by utilising appropriate project management methods and tools using either predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
  • Deliver technology strategy and implementation projects on time, in-scope and on budget, across a range of industries including financial services, healthcare and public sector.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Conduct meetings and demos to facilitate the selection of required services and products.
  • Act to identify, track and resolve issues which impede the delivery team’s progress or prevent the project moving forward. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with PwC’s standards
  • Take responsibility for the effective management of project risks and act as point of contact for escalation.
  • Provide support and oversight for testing deliverables to ensure they align with IT compliance and quality requirements. 
  • Interact and engage with client stakeholders focusing on building and maintaining strong clients’ relationships. 

Job Responsibilities 

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead high impact Technology Consulting project proposals, developing detailed project scope, deliverables and work plans.
  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred skills

  • BA/BS degree in business or related computer science/IT discipline  

  • 5+ years of experience working in a complex, dynamic environment; preferably with a consulting background or relevant IT project management experience.

  • Experience in end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and large-scale systems implementations (ERP, CRM experience preferred). Project management certification desired (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
