
People Operations Advisor

This role reports directly to the Senior People Operations Manager for Europe, EMEA & Cayman Islands.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
First point of contact for People Operations Team requests for all functions and divisions;
Monitor our central inbox and respond to employee inquires, and/or escalates to appropriate specialist member of the team;
Ensure onboarding of new A&M employees and partners over their first 90 days lives to A&M’s expectation (this includes chairing induction sessions for our new joiners across EMEA, on a periodic basis);
Prepare and administer offer paperwork to include covering letters, contracts, addendum letters, contract updates, reference letters and any other matters relating to external successful candidate formal notifications. This will also include the maintenance of all these matters contained on our HRIS system (Workday) and other in – house databases;
Provide daily support needed to ensure a successful HR Management system (Workday);
With a high-level of accuracy, assist with data entry and auditing related to new hires, rehires, conversions, terminations, salary adjustments, transfers, and other compensation items as well as supervisor changes, department changes, name changes, and marital status updates;
Develop and maintain internal HR processes for the region, ensuring continuous improvement an optimising efficiency;
Give advice to employees on HR policies and procedures;
Manage data accuracy, running data audits and reporting on HR data;
Partner with leads on annual performance and pay review process, advising managers and responding to employees’ queries;
Build relationships with managers whilst promoting the HR function by educating them on HR processes and available support;
Complete the new hire processes including right to work and provide support in all migration compliance, work permits, and visas;
Ensure all background check orders through our third-party vendor are readily complete;
Carry out the invoice reconciliation;
Provide logistical support in any event or seminar offered by the HR team (plan logistics for food, room set up);
Ideal candidate profile:
Couple of years experience is a similar People Ops Advisor role
Passionate about people;
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite;
Previous experience in WorkDay (HRIS), ideal;
High ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to confidentiality;
A true team member;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Excellent Time Management; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects;
Previous experience in a HR role in corporate environments;
Knowledge of second European language (French, German, or Spanish) would be advantageous;
Confident leading onboarding for new hires;
Able to work confidentially at all times.
