The Team

Our highly respected Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) team is built on deep industry sector expertise with an ability to address the most complex business problems and deliver decisive and sustainable performance improvement. We focus on enterprise wide transformation to drive EBITDA and/or cash improvement in many different situations including where an activist investor is looking for accelerated results, or where a company is looking to sustainably improve their earnings and profitability. We help our clients navigate complex merger integrations and carve-outs and work for corporations across several industries. We pride ourselves on combining solutions and hands-on implementation to preserve and generate value through practical involvement, including taking interim roles in our clients’ operations and transactions. 

The Role

Working with some of the brightest and most experienced colleagues in the industry, you will lead assignments that cover:

  • Large Scale Transformations
  • Quantified EBITDA / cash improvements
  • Rapid Results / 100-Day Improvement Plans
  • Merger integration / Carve-Out
  • Interim Leadership

The Responsibilities

For Director position: We are looking for senior managers and operators who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead the change agenda within the M&A, Carve-out and Value Creation arena. As a Director, you will be responsible in shaping and leading change and transformation for the client. You will not only play a role as a sector expert for clients but also will have the opportunity to directly lead or grow-to-lead projects across Corporate, Private Equity and Restructuring situations. You will work closely with our senior leaders as part of a fast-growing and dynamic pan-European team and your responsibilities may include:

  • identify high impact opportunities to improve EBITDA and cash flow across the enterprise, ranging from quick wins to the ‘tough calls’ that deliver transformational results
  • review performance figures and analyse data to examine the root cause of problems
  • develop and implement comprehensive profitability and working capital improvements to help stabilise financial and operational performance
  • identify and quantify opportunities to unlock shareholder value by divesting and/or improving under-performing and non-core business units or assets
  • increase the effectiveness and efficiency of transformation programs and determine how to minimise implementation risks and maximise success
  • communicate and collaborate effectively with a range of team members and client stakeholders from front line to senior management, often in high pressure situations

The Requirements

We are looking for candidates with several of the following attributes:

  • Broad operational experience across industry combined with advisory experience from a leading professional services firm
  • Demonstrable leadership in a project-based environment; evidence of leading major transformation, performance improvement, operational restructuring, merger integration, carve-outs or value creation projects
  • Analytical rigour, preferably with financial and / or diligence experience
  • Building a robust yet flexible plan to generate deal flow and sustained repeat business, externally and internally
  • A professional network in Europe in some of the following sectors: Industrials, Aerospace + Defence, Retail + Consumer, Hotel + Hospitality, Media + Entertainment or Healthcare + Life Sciences
  • Proven record of delivering state of the art solutions in evolving sectors
  • A tight grasp on current business trends
  • Clear determination to deliver the latest thinking in a highly competitive advisory marketplace
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and unpredictable environment
  • Fluency in English is essential and, fluency in French or German or Spanish are highly desirable
  • Experience of living and working in Europe
  • 2.1 or equivalent from accredited university; MBA valued
