The Dispute & Investigations practice at Alvarez & Marsal comprise Forensic Accounting & Investigations, Dispute Advisory, Cyber Risk Management, Forensic Technology, Economic Consulting & Data Privacy.

Our Cyber Risk Services team works at Board level to ensure that our clients have adequate governance in place to manage cyber risk and there are four service areas where we can deliver capability:

  • Cyber Security Analysis & Operating Model Definition

  • Cyber Program Execution

  • Cyber Advisory Committee

  • Crisis Management & Incident Response

As organizations become ever more dependent on technology and cyber attacks become more sophisticated, there is an increasing requirement for skilled cyber professionals. At A&M we are continuing to expand our global cyber operations in line with the growing demand for our services so we are looking for a skilled Manager to support this growth and become a leader of the future.

Our team provide cyber advisory services to determine the current state of cyber security maturity and identify potential security gaps.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to projects to identify weaknesses and system misconfigurations that could be exploited by malicious actors

  • Cyber risk evaluation, road map definition and execution

  • Cyber due diligence in support of mergers and acquisitions

  • Cyber incident response, containment and remediation plans

  • Helping develop cyber security service portfolios and value propositions

  • Being able to act as a project manager in the execution of all or some components of a security program (including technical, organizational and process aspects), in an advisory role

Successful Managers will be action-oriented self-starters with entrepreneurial flair. They will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high performing team.

Requirements and qualifications

The successful candidate will have;

  • A strong track record of achievement in the Cyber Security team of a leading advisory team

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex Cyber projects and managing diverse stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security trends combined with a passion for the sector

  • Understanding of network traffic analysis, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Web application testing

  • A strong academic record that could include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. 

  • Robust analytical rigour

  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
