Our Business Technology Performance Improvement team works with clients across Europe to:

  • Realign the performance of the technology / IT function through operational restructuring to directly improve the earnings and cashflow within the business
  • Carry out effective technology and E-Commerce due diligence pre-transaction, and provide necessary post transaction services (Post Merger Integration, Carve Out, 100 day planning)
  • Lead enterprise wide systems & online programmes in order to deliver performance improvement via business transformation and/or cost reduction programmes
  • Manage and develop technology (ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, E-Commerce) assets and systems to meet strategic and operational business requirements. This would include development of KPI’s and dashboards to provide better visibility to the underlying business
  • Design and implement Digital Transformation initiatives in Data Science & Analytics, Digital Workforce & Artificial Intelligence and Digitisation
  • Take interim management positions for example (and depending on experience) CIO, CTO, IT Director, Program Manager, Head of E-Commerce initiatives etc.

Reason for the opportunity

Against this backdrop of unprecedented growth, an opportunity exists for us to strengthen our Business Technology team at the Senior Associate level in order to contribute to a growing and highly experienced Senior Management team. The successful appointee will play a key part in both project delivery and continued business development.

They will be responsible for successfully delivering major projects in such areas as; Strategic IT planning; Enterprise Architecture; Technology Leadership; Business Intelligence; Target Operating Model Design; Customer Management Platforms; IT Transformation programmes; Enterprise Resource Planning; IT Supplier Performance Management; Global IT Sourcing; Business Process Outsourcing and Digital Disruption.

The Senior Associate will be experienced in addressing business critical issues and will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, outcome focused business entrepreneur who is driven to making an impact, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

Candidates will have a proven understanding and passion for advisory and their skill set will include:

  • A consulting toolkit including how to frame a business issue, judiciously find and use internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, business model using Excel, structure and write PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports
  • The ability to work as a core member of the team reviewing a client’s immediate and future issues and market position and develop actionable options for strategic and performance improvement. This could include Target Operating Model Design, IT Transformational programmes, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Cost Reduction
  • The knowledge & skills to develop and implement commercial and cost-effective solutions across IT Supplier Performance Management, Global IT Sourcing and Business Process Outsourcing
  • An appreciation of the challenges that businesses face in today’s market conditions. This may include digital transformation, target operating model design, business intelligence and strategic cost reduction and changes in consumer behaviour
  • An understanding of digital technology’s including, Big Data & Predictive Analytics, Robot Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Customer Experience & Omni-Channel communication.
  • Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace.

Specifically, the successful candidate will have:

  • Exposure to blue chip corporates or PE firms gained at a top tier strategy house or equivalent
  • Proven ability to work in teams and create measurable and identifiable improvements
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel modelling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A very strong academic record including:
    • Robust analytical rigour
    • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging and uncertain environment
