Team Assistant, Construction Solutions


About the Role

This role will suit someone who has begun their career in executive support and sees the importance of getting a good foundation of office work skills in a focused and professional environment. The nature of the business is driven by client deadlines and on occasion the Team Assistant may be required to work outside the core hours at short notice.

What You'll Do

  • Full support to Senior Managing Directors and Practice Support Manager as required
  • Proactive email and diary management of senior leaders
  • Appropriate written and verbal communication on behalf of senior leaders both to internal and external parties
  • Maintaining client contacts effectively, managing BD meetings and keeping CRM system up-to-date;
  • Assisting with client management administration
  • Booking international travel and managing complex travel schedules
  • Maintenance of records and files as required
  • Managing the team's time and expenses in a timely manner
  • Being part of FLC's support network, and able to cover teams as required by cover rota
  • Supporting with the development of documents including client reports, proposals and presentations
  • Support for regional teams when required

Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to prioritise workload and to deal with multiple parties and requests
  • Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work under time pressure and be available as needed
  • Strong attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to maintain collaborative working environment
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to handle confidential issues with utmost sensitivity
  • Strong levels of discretion and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Likely 2-3 years administration experience in a professional services or similar corporate environment
