A career in Risk Management, within Advisory Consulting, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our practice. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

What you’ll create and do: As an Associate in the Advisory practice, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Managing various Risk & Quality support systems, processes and activities

  • Preparing of compliance and management reports

  • Providing Risk & Quality advice to partners, staff and engagement teams 

  • Developing or updating guidance on Risk & Quality related matters

  • Scheduling, developing and updating Risk & Quality training material, and delivery of training

  • Developing communication material on Risk & Quality

  • Supporting the delivery of ad hoc Risk & Quality projects

  • Overseeing and performing reviews on engagement team’s compliance with Risk & Quality policies

  • Participating in firm and/or network quality assurance activities

  • Coaching and mentoring of Risk Champions to promote knowledge sharing

  • Supporting the continued innovation and development of Risk & Quality 

 What you’ll bring to this role

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and experience analysing data

  • Proficiency in developing reports in Tableau or Power BI and workflows in Alteryx or other data prep tools are desirable, but not essential

  • Strong client service focus in dealing with partners and staff at all levels across Advisory

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good judgment and problem solving skills

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
