As a Telco OSS Architecture Manager, you will bring:

  • Leadership qualities: the ability to easily establish trust-based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication Proven stakeholder management skills/experience with senior stakeholders (i.e. Director, Head of Department)

  • An understanding of network architecture, components and design patterns

  • Understanding and experience of industry challenges and best practices for architecting and implementing OSS solutions

  • Knowledge and experience of use cases and best practices to be implemented with OSS solutions

  • Ability to distil complex subject matter into simple, executive-level messages

  • Define, create and execute client workshops/interviews to facilitate detailed understanding of problems and potential solutions

  • Analyse client requirements, existing as-is OSS architecture to identify opportunities for improvement, tied directly to client business objectives

  • Assist account teams in all technical aspects to scope and define client solutions during pre-sales activities

  • Experience managing and coaching junior staff will be viewed favourably

  • Support sizing and dimensioning of solutions

  • Support E2E processes for RFI/RFQ/RFP

We are looking for experience with a combination of skills in any the following areas:

  • E xperience working with, or for Telecommunications (fixed or mobile) or Cable operators

  • H ands-on experience in Operational Support Systems (OSS) advisory, architecture, design, solution consulting or similar

  • E2E understanding of Telecom network technologies (fixed and mobile), standards, OSS interfaces, tools and processes

  • Access, Core, Transport network architecture

  • Network Assurance Processes (Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Preventive Maintenance,  Configuration, etc..)

  • Tools and data models that support processes with a focus on network optimization and operations (Network Fault Management, Network Performance Management, Service Quality Management, Customer Experience Management, Network Planning, Inventory)

  • Integration architecture with network data sources cross vendor and technology (EMS, NMS, probes, NEs)

  • OSS Architecture (e.g. Service Assurance, Service Management, Fulfilment, Network Assurance, Network Inventory and Resource Management)

  • Cloud architecture and related services used to support OSS capabilities

  • Standards and frameworks (3GPP, 5G, LTE, ETSI, 5GAA, 5GMF, ITU, ITIL, TMF)

  • O-RAN (e.g. Altiostar, Parallel Wireless), SON architectures

  • Devops processes and tools

  • Knowledge of network devices (hardware and vendors) and related solutions, network device configuration parameters, network optimization process and related KPIs, network design, network modelling, change processes, assets and configuration management processes ( standards and frameworks)

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Telecommunication Engineering, or other technical studies

  • Experience in network OSS solution implementation
