Our industry sector expertise is supported by functional specialism in areas such as CFO Services, Supply Chain & Operations, Commercial Excellence, Value Creation and Operational Restructuring.

The Opportunity

Consultants and former industry executives work together in CFO Services to help CFOs improve the cost and performance of their finance and accounting functions either in an advisory capacity or as interim CFOs. The team blends independent perspectives with practical solutions based on real industry experience. They support critical finance transformation and performance improvement activities, building and implementing roadmaps to enable the change required to transform the operating model and organisation.

Associates work closely with Senior and Managing Directors in a flat team structure. They lead key work streams and benefit from constant exposure to experienced members of the team and the senior management of the client. They deliver client projects including finance function transformation, crisis cash management, cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation. Assignments may include organisational design, operating model assessments, G&A cost reduction, working capital benchmarking, data analytics, integration or carve-out planning and, digitally enabled finance and accounting. In addition, Associates also have the chance to contribute to business development activities, develop innovative client offerings and considerably nurture and enlarge their professional network. Ideally the successful candidate will have;

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a professional qualification – ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Well-developed analytical skills combined with strong IT skills gained at a Big 4 accounting firm, specialist consulting firm, blue chip corporate or investment bank
  • Demonstrated leadership ability plus strong business financial acumen
  • Outstanding analytical skills plus attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ambition with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
  • A willingness to travel for project work
  • Additional European languages including French, German, Dutch, Italian or Spanish are advantageous
