We are looking for individuals with a strong consulting background who have experience of successfully transforming the finance functions of organisations to help us continue our strong growth trajectory.

You will have a strong point of view on finance function trends and their impact on organisations.  You will have experience of successfully shaping compelling proposals for clients, architecting and then leading delivery across the end to end project lifecycle from strategy to execution.

You will work as part of a core multi-competency team that covers all aspects of Finance Transformation, with focus on:

  • Identifying and developing Finance Transformation opportunities in the Irish market to maintain a sustainable pipeline of work 

  • Working with delivery teams to guide, support and quality assure project delivery of Finance projects

  • Adopting and developing assets and products, usually technology enabled, to accelerate business development and delivery

  • Driving and supporting marketing activities relating to Finance Transformation

  • Networking across PwC locally and globally to integrate the right capabilities into compelling client offerings

  • Supporting upskilling and capability built of internal resources

This is an exciting, varied and challenging role that requires knowledge and experience of several or all of the following. 

  • Finance Transformation projects – experience in leading or key role. Experience in full project lifecycle, is highly desirable, ideally with blue chip organisations

  • Client facing business development and consulting skills

  • Knowledge of:

    • Finance Strategy

    • Benchmarking and Maturity assessments

    • Best practice Finance processes

    • Enterprise Performance Management 

    • Finance Organisation (SSC/GBS)

  • Experience with Digital Finance enablers (automation, process mining, dashboarding)

  • Hands-on experience with Finance/EPM systems and ERPs through implementation or as users

  • Experience in Financial Data, Management and Financial Reporting

  • Accounting qualification desirable (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

  • Experience in team and staff development

  • International experience highly desirable
