The Graphic Designer is a member of Alvarez & Marsal’s (A&M) Global Marketing team. This will be the first designer based in our London office to better meet the our growing, regional needs within EMEA. The Graphic Designer will receive support and guidance from A&M’s brand and design team based in the United States and work with our local EMEA Marketing Team to deliver compelling designs in support of marketing campaigns.  This role will help to uphold and advance our brand within an environment that is quickly evolving and has very diverse creative needs.  The London based Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting all design activities for our EMEA region, including managing our relationships and design deliverables from third parties and creating and delivering items such as   enhanced imagery, video, digital advertising, website components, social and email banners, brochures and similar.

About the Position:

  • Design, develop and/or revise A&M-branded business development and marketing materials.

  • Develop an understanding of firm services and objectives to ensure each project serves to grow the brand and revenue opportunities.

  • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects from assignment through delivery.

  • Consistently maintain and update project statuses in our project management tool for the purposes of team capacity and project planning.

  • Maintain an advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite to construct documents and graphics based on project needs.

  • Ensure graphics and visual elements align with A&M brand standards.

  • Supervise and maintain logo usage for all external and internal communications for EMEA.

  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations and properly communicate expectations and timeframes.

  • Stay up to date on latest design trends and relevant hardware/software.

  • Support the day-to-day management of and communication with a local design vendors to ensure they remain on-brand.

  • Special projects and duties as assigned.

  • Reports into the Director of Marketing in London.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent.

  • Solid in-house graphic design experience required; experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) required; experience in additional applications (Premier, After Effects, Creative Cloud) preferred.

  • Experience designing within Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Experience collaborating with multiple project stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Candidates should have a digital portfolio of relevant work samples for consideration, which should include edited videos that were created in Adobe Premiere Pro.
