Industry X Digital Manufacturing & Operations is seeking   to recruit a   Consulting   Manager   to sit within our Health, Safety, Environment and Asset Management   practice .   HSE   and intelligent asset management   remains   an important domain for our industry clients   from   capital project implementation   through to   operation and decommissioning of   assets ,   and   is   a fundamental part of their drive towards sustainable and responsible business . Accenture has developed a full suit e   of digital and innovative solutions to drive performance improvement.   The role therefor e   is positioned   at   the cross-road s   between the HSE /asset management   domain s , consultancy and digital innovation.  


In this role you will:   

  • Support the development of client’s HSE, sustainability and asset management strategies, roadmaps and requirements, and the implementation of associated policies, systems and activities to ensure an improved culture within client environments.   

  • Work effectively as a supportive team member or a subject matter expert and   have the ability to   lead delivery teams to   maximise   contribution through different stages of a project lifecycle from initial assessments to solution go-live to achieve project commercial objectives and client outcomes.  

  • Support the development of new solutions, assets and project accelerators including new and innovative end-to-end business services as an active member of the Industry X practice.  

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships in the HSE/sustainability/intelligent asset management areas with key internal and external stakeholders, such as Accenture colleagues, industry contacts, clients and alliance partners.  

  • Leverage networks, relationships and Accenture innovation architecture to support business development and originate new opportunities across new and existing clients. Support the preparation of compelling value propositions and proposals that result in increased win rates.  

We are looking for experience in the following skills:  

  • Significant experience in a combination of HSE and/or sustainability and/or asset management consulting, industry and technology roles.   

  • Consulting experience is essential. Technology and industry experience is desirable.  

  • Strong technical competence in HSE and/or sustainability and/or asset management, and knowledge of relevant regulations / requirements with demonstrated application of practices within industry environments.  

  • Ability to take a pragmatic approach to improving standards in the   workplace.  

  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.   

  • Has worked in (consulting) team delivery and project / team leading roles, with a track record of managing and delivering projects successfully on time and on budget.  

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-player.  

  • Willing to travel to domestic and international locations.  

  • Good client contacts and industry network is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on consulting practitioner with good knowledge in all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Asset Management from implementation of improvement programs / projects, good practices for an operational excellence culture, to reporting systems.
