The Supply Chain team sits within the Operational Effectiveness Consulting team. We also work closely with our global supply chain network.

About our Supply Chain Team
Supply chain management is increasingly becoming a major key differentiator for our clients across a range of sectors. Our Supply Chain team, part of our Operations practice, is passionate about collaborating with clients to transform their supply chain operations, develop new ways of working, deploy new innovative solutions, and drive efficiencies .
You will be part of a highly skilled, specialist team where you will be encouraged to initiate and develop new ideas to take to our clients. Our highly motivated team has an excellent track record of delivering high quality work to major local and international clients and has ambitious growth plans for the next few years.
Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Our Supply Chain transformation projects are large scale. We collaborate internally with other practice areas (Change Management, Technology, Data and Analytics, Tax etc. and globally with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) across our PwC network. By joining us, you get the opportunity to both deepen your Supply Chain experience, build your internal and global networks, and work on exciting client projects such as -
Designing and implementing the operational integration of two multinational FMCG companies, across 50+ European markets
Supporting a global plastics company in identifying integration synergies and operational improvements following a series of acquisitions
Completing a procurement synergy savings assessment for two global media companies that recently merged. This included developing a new Procurement Op Model for the merged entity
Supporting a Retail and Consumer Goods company in assessing its end to end procure to pay model – including identifying requirements for a new P2P system
Identifying efficiency opportunities for a Global Pharma company with two manufacturing sites in Ireland
Role & Responsibility
As a Senior Manager, your key responsibilities will include
As part of an engagement team, successfully delivering projects to our clients.
Supporting the Supply Chain team in its Business Development activities e.g. preparing proposals for clients, presenting at industry/client events, identifying potential new opportunities
Developing and mentoring members of our team
Supporting the Supply Chain team in continuously developing and evolving our propositions e.g. linking in with supply chain practices across our network, keeping up with developments in the market, engaging with clients etc.
Experiences and skills
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in some or all of the following areas of supply chain management:
Experience in supply chain management such as supply chain model and strategy development, logistics and network optimisation, demand / supply planning, manufacturing, procurement, outsourcing – 3PLs/4PLs, CMO etc.
Experience of leading supply chain transformation program and new business opportunities
Exposure to different technology solutions used in supply chain e.g. Digital supply chain / Industry
Experience of leading people and teams
8+ years’ experience in consulting or internal consulting across different industries or supply chain environment
A relevant primary or advanced degree e.g. supply chain, management, MBA or equivalent
