Education / Professional Qualifications:

  • A recognised University Degree or equivalent preferably specialising in Analytics/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/ Engineering, with a strong statistical content or other demonstrated expertise in a quantitative field

 
Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience delivering business insights through the use of statistical techniques and other quantitative methods 

  • Comfortable manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources. 

  • Ability to provide advice about big data, a big data strategy, the implementation of big data and which technologies best fit specific needs

  • Strong understanding of statistical method and their real-world applications

  • Knowledge on data protection, governance and IP 

  • Applied knowledge of several data technologies, practices and analytical approaches, including:  

  • Data Preparation for statistical and analytical purposes (SQL or equivalent) 

  • Statistical Programming (Java, Python, R, SAS or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in providing business insights from the analysis of complex data.

  • A track record of delivering client projects within a professional services organisation. 

  • Experience in developing people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff.
