Become part of the team

Please note: We're all currently working remotely due to Covid-19. We hope to be back in the office later this year.

Brand new role specially designed to support growth ambitions of our Energy and Utilities sector and GTM Lead.

You will join our newly formed Consulting Business Support team, paramount to the Consulting teams in providing support to our sectors and capabilities, ensuring our Partners and Consulting teams have everything they need to achieve their targets and maintain client relationships. You are joining a hub of Business Support experts who will ensure a smooth integration and provide a positive working environment.

Partner with our Energy & Utilities GTM Lead, providing first class secretarial 1:1 support within PA’s large, fast-paced and growing team globally.  Confident in managing priorities, you will be first point of contact for a wide range of GTM personnel, providing support through several key activities.

If you’re looking for a challenge and are keen to integrate and contribute more to the success of the sector than just 1:1 support, then this will be for you. Whilst your main priority is managing the general 1:1 support and administration for the E&U Lead, you will also be expected to play a significant, contributing role ensuring the success of the Energy & Utilities sector. Your background will be of a commercial setting, where you can attend leadership, client and bid meetings with confidence. Support client facing propositions and initiatives led by the GTM Lead such as promoting external events, preparing documents, supporting proposals/bids/presentations and research.

What we're looking for

Whilst we have huge growth plans, you will be vigilant of all client projects, current bids, marketing and recruitment activities. Coming from a client-focused environment, with impeccable organisation, we expect you to have the experience and confidence in taking ownership of Partner diaries and workload. A large part of this role will be just as reactive as it will be proactive.

  • All 1:1 support and administration to the GTM Lead including inbox and diary management, travel scheduling, processing expenses etc.
  • Arranging and facilitating internal team, leadership and governance meetings led by the GTM Lead - includes scheduling, preparation and capturing, tracking, and managing action lists.
  • Supporting recruitment and marketing initiatives led by the GTM Lead, including scheduling interviews or coordinating with internal recruiters.

It is paramount you come with previous secretarial or PA experience and to make your integration and training easier, experience in a larger organisation will help. Ideally, you will have experience in or as a minimum a real passion for the energy and utilities industry. Naturally, a flexible approach to workload and potentially working outside of working hours during busy periods only, may be required. Due to the nature of the role and the volume of client-facing activities you will be a part of, this will be a focus of which our GTM Lead would like to learn more about of you.
