Economist (Analyst / Associate)

Due to continued business growth and investment in building our team, an opportunity is available for a high performing economist, who wishes to further their career with like-minded, highly motivated, analytical, inquisitive professionals in support of building a best in class Economics practice.

Requirements for the economics roles:

Looking for consultants at analyst and associate level to provide support on:

  • Complex economic damages claims in litigation and international arbitration settings including, for example, cartel damages, collective redress, and commercial litigation

  • High-profile competition (anti-trust) and regulatory investigations

  • Economic and econometric advisory services including in relation to impact assessments, due diligence support, compliance advice and modelling of behavioural issues.

Ideally a First-Class undergraduate and a good Master’s degree in economics or econometrics. Candidates with a PhD in an appropriate discipline are encouraged.

Strong financial modelling and/or statistics and econometric skills.  The latter will include an ability to conduct and oversee econometric analysis to a high standard.

Ability to write economic analysis in a clear and compelling way.

A couple of years experience within consultancy, government or industry.

Compensation consummate with qualifications and experience.
