Our European Transaction Advisory team is an established & highly successful part of our global Transaction Advisory Group (“TAG”) and we are the largest global transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms.

TAG includes over 500 professionals in 25 offices throughout the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. A&M’s deep operational and industry expertise provides TAG with a unique opportunity to perform “smarter” due diligence by providing an integrated and differentiated approach. We are free from audit conflicts and our platform is less restrictive, enabling us to operate cross-border seamlessly.

Across Europe, we work on high profile deals for large and mid-cap private equity firms, Financial Institutions and large Corporates. We are active on many international and cross border situations.

Following another highly successful year we are now expanding further and we are looking for ambitious Associates to join our Transactions Advisory team in London.

As part of a select and highly skilled team,

  • You will have the opportunity to deliver challenging Transaction Advisory engagements, working closely with our Managing Directors & Senior Directors

  • You will assist with core financial due diligence, helping to identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the business against industry benchmarks, and aid in the evaluation of the potential transaction in the context of a clients’ investment strategy

  • You will have the opportunity to analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational data. Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information that is used to drive discussions with target management and drive observations and conclusions

  • You will gain broad industry exposure working with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions

  • You will be given the opportunity to use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, as well as being given exposure to the key drivers and valuation considerations which drive a transaction

  • You will have the opportunity to work alongside operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process  

  • You will gain constant exposure to our Managing Directors, leveraging their substantial deal experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified Big 4 trained ACA with first time passes and an exceptional academic record

  • Previous experience in Transaction Advisory is advantageous (but not mandatory)

  • Exposure to Private Equity and/ or blue-chip Corporates is useful

  • Fluent business level English is essential and additional European language skills including Dutch, Italian, German, Swedish, French or Spanish are highly desirable
