Project Summary

Do you have experience of working as a PMO Analyst, supporting a Lead PMO on Global fast-paced and complex Transformation Programmes?

Our client, a leading Global Pharmaceuticalcompany, is looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to support theirGlobalManufacturing Financial Transformation Programme.

The PMO Analyst will:

  • have previous PMO experience supporting large scale and delivery focusedGlobal projects and programmes (in planning, resourcing, tracking, reporting, budgetingetc.)
  • have expert knowledge of project management methodologies / tools / templates
  • be a self-starter, able to manage ambiguity whilst navigating through it

This role is all about providing effective support to the PMO Lead to ensure that the Programme is effectively managed to deliver on time, to budget and quality.

Key Areas of Work

You will be the key support for the PMO Lead and responsible for:

  • Utilising PMO tools to coordinate preparation of internal and external reports (gathering, analysing and summarising data and information from the project teams)
  • Collating and developing and managing the execution of project plans in MSP for projects or programmes, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality and ensures tracking of the project delivering on time and on budget
  • Providing support to the PMO Lead in planning, managing, and monitoring major projects from concepts through implementation and may also manage own smaller projects
  • Assisting in the initiation, coordination and analysis of resource allocation, financial controls and documentation preparation
  • Effectively managing change to project/programme scopes
  • Establishing relationships with business stakeholders to capture business requirements and ensure their understanding and commitment to the project/programme objectives
  • Providing support to the business areas by gathering and analysing data and assisting with the maintenance of corporate business processes, procedures and policies
  • Preparing presentation materials for management reports
  • Developing online management reports and key performance parameters
  • Evaluating and monitoring the performance and efficiency of programmes to ensure that programme implementation is on target
  • Assisting with the preparation of a variety of reports covering budget status, forecast reports and other management reports
  • Working on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables.

Mandatory Skills/Experience

The successful consultant will need to demonstrate:

  • PMO Expertise: A minimum of 5 years experience of operating as a PMO in a finance function for a global programme. All round PMO skillset with MSP planning experience.
  • Qualifications: Business degree or similar professional qualifications.
  • Personal Attributes: A self-starter, organised and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
