Knowledge Management Analyst
This role within the Knowledge Management (KM) Team will support and assist the European Knowledge Management Business Partner (KMBP) in pursuit of a better understanding of the firm’s business professional’s information needs to win new business prospects. Reporting to the KMBP, this important role will be the vital link between our KM Team and our internal customer’s needs. The successful candidate will be key in supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analysis, building, testing, and deployment of tasks on our KM informational toolset.
Role and Responsibilities

- Work with the KMBP in support of the business units to analyse and evaluate processes and needs, and continually align Knowledge Management efforts.
- Work with Knowledge Management team, to improve current practices and services.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities, write specifications.
- Work with the KMBP to identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new processes/policies.
- Maintain a continuous commitment to improve the functionality of the KM platform and tools.
- Assist in taking the business “temperature” of the A&M business units and ensure current and future efforts are meeting expectations.
- Assist with the daily delivery of existing KM services, including response and delegation of reported issues and requests.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Work with Project Managers to monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for users as database applications are developed.
- Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements.
Qualifications
- Direct experience in Knowledge Management or Analyst function
- Bachelor's degree in related area or similar work/technical experience in Business Studies, Business Administration, or Management.
Desired Skills
- A solid grasp of knowledge management concepts, systems, frameworks and tools in a professional services environment.
- Ability to transform business objective use cases to user story solutions consumable by an agile development team.
- Experience with cloud-based CRM and marketing automation systems, i.e., Salesforce, and social/mobile enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas and solutions concisely to senior management as well as both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Superior analytical and writing skills.
- Exceptionally close attention to detail.
- Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to assist with tasks outside immediate key role requirements for the benefit of overall KM team success.
- Exposure to a professional services environment and customer-facing experience is required.
