
Senior Associate - Manufacturing Consulting - Delivering Deal Value
About the team
Our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, within Consulting, assists both Corporate and Private Equity (PE) clients in a wide range of business critical operational and transformational challenges, driven by Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activity.
We advise our clients on deals with values ranging from £50 million to over £9 billion. DDV is now a core team of over 100 specialists covering all industry sectors.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate with experience from the Industrial Products/Manufacturing sector
This individual will ideally have:
- Proven previous relevant industry experience
- Experience in working on change projects / business improvement and delivering quantifiable benefits
- Project Management experience
- Exposure to M&A
- Experience of organisational change, sourcing and supplier management
- Buy and sell side operational due diligence
- Synergy development and review
- Carve out and divestment support
- Taking control and 100 day planning
- Mergers & acquisitions integration
- Rapid Value Creation
- Previous relevant Industrial Products experience ideally within Industrial Manufacturing
- Experience of operations, production, or supply chain
- Experience in working on change projects / business improvement
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to manage ‘change’ projects
- An ability to ‘read’ a business/process
- A demonstrated ability to operate on your own initiative
- A comfort around financial analysis and understanding of the key drivers, Knowledge of deals, which might include: mergers & acquisitions, synergy reviews and carve-outs
- Degree, MBA or other relevant qualification
- Comfort and ability around report writing
- Continuous Improvement/ Lean/ Six Sigma experience
- Commercial exposure in negotiation and consultation
- Language skills (oral and written)
- Amount of time client based: 50%
- Need to travel/overnight stays away from home: Yes
- Amount of time PwC office based 50%
