Establishing a presence in Europe over 17 years ago, the European business now has some 800 staff in a broad range of professional services including: Restructuring, Insolvency, Lender Advisory, Transaction Services, Tax Advisory and Valuations in addition to Performance Improvement.
Our pan European Restructuring practice is expanding, and an opportunity exists for us to strengthen our team by recruiting a part qualified Financial Analyst to provide financial and management information on the performance of the practice.
Reporting to the Operational Controller, Restructuring, responsibilities include:
- Monthly reporting & analysis on our pan European Restructuring practice
- Working with the business to formulate annual budgets and regular re-forecasts
- Analytical review of performance against five-year Financial Plan and Budget
- Analysis and presentation of financial information from individual European practice areas to assist business decision making
- Working with the Operational Controller to develop and improve the provision of Management Information
- Providing focus to working capital management
- Identification of risks & opportunities to business through analysis of data and KPIs
- Provision of insightful analysis to understand profit drivers
Requirements
- Strong academically with well-developed analytical & Excel skills
- Interested in, or already working towards, an accounting qualification
- Previous experience of delivering business analysis in a professional services firm environment
- Excellent communicator and a keen team player
- Accustomed to working in a in a fast-moving industry
- Self motivating and keen to develop and improve existing processes
